Nail Salon Policies

Making and keeping your appointments.

  • No matter what kind of appointment you are making, keep in mind that time has become a precious commodity - both yours and the person you’re making the appointment with. Etiquette for the nail salon is no different than etiquette anywhere else. Don’t intentionally treat others' time with disrespect. Nail technicians nearly all depend on their appointments to make a living, and when you don’t show up, it’s likely they don’t get paid. Some salons even charge you if you don’t show up. Technicians will usually understand if you have over scheduled yourself and can let them know as soon as you see you aren’t going to make it. The earlier the better, because there’s a chance that the tech can fill the vacancy with someone on a waiting list or with a walk-in customer.


Walk-ins Welcome.

While we encourage scheduling an appointment, we do welcome walk-clients, however, it is based on availability and if we are busy there may be a waiting period or you might have to schedule an actual appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointments are very important to our S&P Nail Bar team professionals. We hold your appointments just for you & ask that if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment, please provide us with 24-hour notice. This way, our team of professionals will be able to adjust their schedules accordingly and we may be able to accommodate clients on our waiting list.  We do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency, etc.  


  • No shows will be charged 100% of service amount. No Exceptions


  • When you book an appointment less than 24 hours of service you forfeit your right to reschedule your appointment. So please do not book expecting to change your day of service, You will be charged full price if you do not show up and banned from booking in the future.


  • If you fail to reschedule your appointment 24 hours in advance, and you do not showup to your appointment you will be charged for your full service.  No exceptions/ No excuses


  •   All deposits are nonrefundable. If you reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, your deposit will transfer over to your resceduled appointment.  


  • As a courtesy, we do call, the system generates text and/ email to confirm the date and time at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.  If we are unable to reach you and only leave a message, or cannot reach you at all, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees.  You are always welcome to call and double check any appointments if you’re unsure. 


  • If you are over 30 minutes late for your appointment, it will be cancelled and you will be charged the full price of all services booked.


  • If you are given same day reschedule you will be charged a $20 change fee per appointment.


  • If you fail to show up to your appointment and you cancel your card you can not book any future appointments until all fees that are owed from are current.


  • If you showup to your appointment and cancel any service on the day of your appointment, you will be charged full price for any service you cancel. You must alow time for your service and you must guve us a 24 hour notice to make adjustment to your appointment.


  • Please come to your appointment with an open schedule. Do not book an appointment when you are in a rush, we are not cancelling any services without charging you full price for all services cancelled on that day, so please do not schedule if you do not have enouigh time for your appointment. Please just use the walk- in method.
  • You must show up with the credit card used to book appointment accompanied with a state issued real ID.No Exceptions



Late\Tardiness

We will always try our best to accommodate you if you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc. It happens, we know! However, your tardiness can affect the remainder of our teams day by delaying them for their clients who come in on time.  For this reason, we have set a few general ground rules for such situations. Clients will generally be allowed a 15 minute grace period.  After that time, there will be a $20 late fee added to to your final balance. If we are running behind we will provide a courtsey call or inform you when you arrive, if we cannot reach you on the phone or text message.  If you decide to reschedule for another day we will provide a courtsey reschedule or salon credit. Lastly, we respect all of our clients, so please respect us and do not book if you are not flexible or in a rush.


Guaranteed Service / Gratuity

We always want you to be 100% satisfied with your services. If you are not 100% satisfied we ask that you let us know before you leave the salon or please contact us within 3 days.  Any issues reported longer than 3 days from the original appointment date will not immediately be considered as a redo but will be assessed on a case by case basis. 


ABSOLUTELY !! NO REFUNDS. 


Gratuity
Gratuity is not included in the price of service or salon packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion. You may tip the nail technician immediately after service or upon check out at the front desk with cash, or credit card. With parties of 5 or more a 20% gratuity will be added to the final bill. 

Cellphone / Salon Promotions

As a courtesy to others, please silence your cell phones and other devices.  Do not use speaker phone, we ask for you to use headphones or text.  Thank you.


Salon Promotions
S&P Nail Bar specials cannot be used in combination with any other offer, promotions or third part gift certificates. 


Pets

Sorry, but by Georgia state law, no pets are allowed in a salon.




Child Safety Policy:

Our concerns are for the safety of your children.We understand how challenging it is finding time to spend for yourself. We also understand that your “me time” does not always align with your nail appointments. However, our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the salon. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker. Unfortunately the salon cannot provide childcare services. Also, young children in carriers/strollers may not be placed near the service areas or held in the lap.We kindly request ONLY those receiving services be present in the service areas. Older children, (12+) capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised, may wait in the provided seating area. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind.Our salon is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. Soak and Polish nail technicans and staff are dedicated to providing each of our guests with the highest level of services possible.We greatly appreciate your compliance with our child safety policy.


We do not perform any nail enhancements on children under the age of 13, such as full sets, gelx, sns or any nail enhancements.
